Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is a surprisingly effective freeware antimalware tool. It is a malware remover relatively fast, with quick analysis to be about 8 minutes, even with other programs, high performance resources. The heuristics engine proved on multiple computers during empirical testing that has been able to determine the difference between false positives and dangerous applications.

App has some nice features rolled, too. It supports multiple drive scanning network drives, options, context menu, including on-demand scanning of individual files, and FileASSASSIN option under the More Tools section for removing locked files. The interface is simple, but look nice and organized. Tabs live below the logo is large, with few options Ven a tab to keep down the clutter. Installation is fast enough, but interestingly offered a well-kept changelog and an instant definition file update.
Note that real-time protection is limited to the paid version, as the developer of updates and analysis. In general, however, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is a malware remover that does what response is needed with minimal effort.
